I just installed a 3-guage pod with egt, boost and trans temp. I want to install some more performance and I'm going back and forth on the predator or the juice. I do a lot of towing, but the weight of the trailer is never over 7000 lbs. I make the trip via I-80 through the rockies and the sierra nevada's approx. 3-4 times a year. I installed the guages so if I go with the juice I don't need the attitude monitor. I'm most interested in reliability. and ease of install and going back to stock setting. any and all experiences with either is appreciated.

er........ get both? I like the diagnostic features of the Predator and the performance of the EDGE. The EGT backdown or backout system the EDGE has as well as "on the fly" change is the ticket.

How much more power do you want? What about your tranny, will you upgrade it?

There is another.... Banks. They say they have the "end to all ends" on programmers. I'd still go with EDGE. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I own a Predator and currently "borrowing" a juice. Hands down, the juice is much more pleasant to drive than Predator. The Pred does have it's plus's but I'm eyeing up this juice for purchase.

Even thought you have the three guages you may still want the attitude. The on the fly changing ability is worth the attitude along, not to mention the other features that the attitude has. If I were I would still get the attitude. I have the predator also and it has fishbite when at highway speeds when you accelerate, which drives me nuts. I only use the predator for dianogtics and reading/resetting codes.

Supposedly the new version 1.11 of the Predator fixes the surging & "touchy pedal" issues. Mine was 1.10 and the surging was a pain in the ass at times.

I like the real-time diags with the Predator, especially the injector info

I like the juice I have installed. I tow a 13K-14K trailer ocassionally. I have a 2004 2500 HD D/A. I only have it set on level 1 for normal and for towing. Huge torque and horsepower on level 1. There are a lot of people set the "juice" on level 3, 4, or 5. I do not want to hurt the truck, just add some power. www.rpmoutlet.com (http://www.rpmoutlet.com) has a decent price. Good service. I ordered online and had it in 3 days.

I have the Pedator because I wanted the monitoring features. V1.11 has resolved all the issues I had.
