Cheapest ones I've found are at http://www.oilguard.com/Merchant4/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=mtm&Category_Co de=racor+oem.

You do have to buy in lots of 3 ($17 each) or 6 ($16 each), but at those prices it's not much more than buying one from the stealer.

Thanks guys!!!!!!!

I have just read about so many things on fuel and that the stock fuel filter isn't good enough etc etc etc..................

I am trying to figure out what I want to do. Stay with what I have or get a secondary or replacement filter system.

the bad thing is that I work for Parker and Parker(diff. division) makes the filters.........................

I felt dirty putting that Fram on my truck and feel even dirtier seeing that orange box sitting on the shelf in the garage. Thanks for the great service, though.

Habanero,
The filters are still made by racor, just reboxed. No aftermarket makers yet. Dirty feeling or not, putting a white boxed filter on is still the same lousy racor. Just a thought.

I am having trouble with your math: how much is "Not Much more", 41.40 from the dealer or "$17 each or $16 each". WOW!

YEah, that orange box is tuff to look at but as long as its a fuel filter, its good. Tomac runs them, I run them and so do alot of others, no problems

I'm not crazy about the Fram box either. But they come from a great guy with good service. Tuff to beat the price and they look the same to me as a Racor which is $58 at the stealer here.

I have been ordering Fuel Filters from OILGUARD.COM For a long time . They are good people to deal with and the sight is secure . When you have them delivered ground it will take about 4 days from Cal. to Mi. I bought 12 the last time I ordered and the Total cost to the house was $16.97 each . http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif Good Luck .http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gifEdited by: UAWDIESEL

I'll keep oilguard.com as a consideration as they look like the place to beat. No blah blah, just good prices.

I get my fuel filters from my dealer----$28.00 each (list is $42.00 I think)----I figure having a GM filter on the truck is just a ACE up my sleeve if I ever have injector problems.-------------Phil

Sorry, I guess I have stated it more clearly for you....

3 @ $16 - $17 each is not much more than the 1 the original poster bought from the dealer.

Are you happy now?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif
