Hello All,
I am new to the diesel world and forum and have found all the info great. Just purchased a Silverado Classic CC and have just under 500 miles on it. I have a source for 2% biodiesel and am wondering if I should wait further into the break in before I switch. I realize there are discussions within this forum concerning the added lubricity, however, does this apply to a brand new vehicle. The dealership discouraged its (BD) use early on.
Also, any suggestions as to when I should first change the oil? I am not willing to wait for the indicator message on the DIC and am thinking about the 1000 mile mark.
Any help out there?
