Have an 04 LLY, will the injectors be a problem for me? Heard yesterday that a few were having problems. Seems to start with a ticking sound. After going to several dealers, the injectors were replaced and no more pinging.
Any comments

There have been problems with fuel leakage into crankcase:
"The fuel injectors have internal conditions that may cause them to return an excessive quantity of fuel to the tank, as well as leak fuel into the crankcase. Due to the return flow and/or leakage, the fuel injection pump may not be able to build up adequate fuel rail pressure. "
Also some preliminary info on '04 6.6L LLY Diesel Engine fuel injector compression leak noise or soot around the injector body - GM's recomendation is to check injector sealing washers and o-rings (damaged or missing). (ref. #PI01989 )

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.

LLY eliminated the injector sleeve. The good thing is it's somewhat easier to check for problems.
Has anyone done all injectors on an LLY? Are they easy? Time?
