Have you seen any defective "water in fuel" sensors........My light comes on ever morning when it's cool outside (78 degrees here in Phoenix). In the afternoon I get no light at all...I've checked what I drained with test strips, and never shows a positive for water (strips are good...... put water on them, they turn purple). Any insight???

Kevin, seems odd that the light would only come on cold. I would disconnect the WIF sensor near the filter and see if problem still occurs, if it does, I would suspect wiring issue. I notice that the bracket near the alt, right above the schrader valve test port seems to be prone to nicking a few wires here and there.
