I have an XM roady in my 1994 Chevrolet with the remote cassette/graphic equalizer. The cassette player is dead. If I tune my XM to an FM station and drive in the city the reception comes and goes with FM radio interferance. The rebuilt cassette players are high, I don't do cassettes, and the interface is not so good sound wise. I want the radio controls where they are so I am trying not to go aftermarket with a cd player because the reach is too far. I just wondered if anyone had the wiring diagrams for that 3 way radio, cassette, and head control so I could figure out how to replace the cassette by adding an aux input to keep my graphic equalizer. It seems like a switch, to tell the head control to go from radio to the aux in like the cassette did and a pair of the wires from the cassette to the equalizer for my aux in jack would do the job. Any ideas?
