My check engine light came on, I called onstar they said no codes, check the fuel cap, did that, no change. Only differance is the glow plug light won't go out until I start it. did A search of this forum I found a member with the same problem GM told him it was the CM and no fix available yet.Funny thing is I told my salesman about it and sent him the codes he said, just internet rumars. so I wrote the codes down and they were sitting on my seat, when I ask the tech what the codes were he says, well you had them written down already on a piece of paper on your seat http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif good job guys!! anyway, didnt have time to complete diagnoses took truck home after tech reset CM, light came right back on. Anyone else with this problem, the other members with this problem, did GM find a fix? thanks

my dealer said he has ordered a new control module for my LLY, had it in shop for same problem as well as another issue, asked him if this was a new GM fix and he said "don't know, all he knows is the tech ordered a new CM"

Mines in for the light staying on right now. The dealer told be they have been working with GM Technical assistance.

Just got my LLY back...they ended up replacing the control module part number 97379635. Hope this solves the wait light problem

well I just got my truck back from the dealer (first chanmce I had, very busy) service manager says its the glow plug control module, he tried to order one GM says it will arrive in october, large backorder I guess. Anyway I'll keep calling to see if part is in or try a differant dealer. There is a service bullitanon this.
