iam curious which is better a module like the edge or a programmer. seems to me you need both if you want to gain power and reset computer for a bigger tire. any help would be appreciated

You don't need both ....

You have to do your research and decide which suits your needs the best and is reliable ....

But that only shows up on the Attitude. If he wants the speedo re-calibrated, it's going to take a programmer.

It also looks like you have to have a programmer to raise the top speed limit. From what I can see,one of the bad things about programmers is that they don't monitor trans slippage and back the power off if it does slip.Does anybody know if this is true?

Don't want to hyjack this thread but will going to a programmer, TTS i believe, be able to adjust the ECM for ABS as well as tires.

BTW, does adjusting the tires correct the DIC aswell as the speedo.

Thanks

Rich.

the TTS will adjust for tires and correct the speedo, remove speed limiter but i dont think it will adjust for ABS as thats done in a different part of the computer
