Ok so i got my truck back its beutiful witht he new paint..
So me and a freind are heading to his house to get his quad and were listing to the radio when this nasty vibration comes threw the truck.. ( Wasnt the sub's..)
So i pull over and stop look under the truck and its puring out ATF..
So im like WTF is going on.. So i try putting it in 4 hi and it doesnt move...
So i got it towed home and looked under niethe it and the transfer case has a crack all the way down the side...
And heres the kicker my truck is at 37k just out of warranty..
Called chevy today and they said NOPE its out a warranty sry caint help ya.. Now im not sure but when i bought a transfer case for my mud truck it was 1500 so idk what to do...
I mean the tranny shop was closed so i couldnt get anything from them but i mean should i gripe to chevy or what??

That sucks! If you called Cox, I'd check with another dealer.

Yea i called cox and they told me EAT CRAP so im gonna call bill heard the dealer ship i bought the truck from and if they say no im gonna call sunset and everydealer i can find...
But yea after all the bad luck i have been having with the truck my dad said he is gonna help me trade it in...
So i just gotta get it fixed...

Could the paint shop have caused this, and forgot to tell ya?

you should probably call the insurace company and complain to them that it was related to the wreck. (if you claimed on insurance)

my dad called insurance and the guy said if they dont warranty it he'll get it..
But i just found out from my dad my truck has a ext warranty..
but with the wreck idk if they'll cover it but either way im getting a new one..

More common than you might think, Suncoast Trans sells a special support bracket to eliminiate it ! We pretty much require it if a guy buys a Suncoast tranny from us, if he doesn't we list that it was offered on the reciept to cover the issue is it comes up later Any truck that tows heavy or has a pretty good HP level has to potential to crack one, but I have seen it on stock trucks that don't tow heavy as well.

What exactly is broken, the transfer case or the Allison rear case?

ANY GM dealer can "goodwill" warranty your truck IF they want to...

That happened to my buddies 01 HD and he complained to chevy and they replaced the whole thing for FREE:ro)

Ok the tail cone of the tranny is cracked and the transfer case is cracked down the side...
They are gonna warranty it... So thats good news..
But im still going to be out of my truck and in a rent a car for another week..
But i guess it'll all work out in the end..

But right now im on the look for a 06 2500hd cc sb with the lt3 package..
Nothing specail just cloth seats and push botton 4x4..

Cox warranty'd it..
They ordered the tranny and transfer case today so hopfuly by wensday ill have my truck back...
Man has it been hell driving my grampa yukon...
But if anyone is looking i have the truck in lik enew condition and its for sale..
Im trading it in unless someone wants to buy it for what i owe..
