For all my Detroit area compatriots, I have found a decent source for the coveted Mobil Delvac1 at a decent price. The supplier I have been using had dried up, so I had to go shopping.


The new supplier:

Price is $97.09 per case (Roughly the same as AV lube with shipping)

I pay $79 per case of 4 one gallon jugs if I pick it up, and purchase 4 case min. then there is the 6.75% sells tax on that.

Wal-Mart is also selling Mobil-1 Truck and SUV (re-labled Devlac-1) for 4.77/qt ($76.32 per 4 gals) + tax.

No wally world by me has any mobil truck/SUV. I've been looking! I wish it did.


My original supplier was cheaper than this, but I was in a pinch. Maybe this will spur another good oil dealer...


Detroit = car city = place where people will pay to keep their cars (or just drive them into the ground without a rat's a$$)

Last time I was in the parts department, I'm almost positive this place had some (call first). No idea on price. Also a local source for Transynd.

Try Murray's Auto Parts. The one by me has Mobil 1 Truck/SUV for $4.85/qt. They may be selling it chain-wide.

Mobil 1 Truck &amp; SUV:


The Auburn Hills Walmart (off Opdyke near the Silverdome) and most Walmart Supercenters have it. The one in Lapeer does. Trouble is they sell out quickly.


The Murray's in Lapeer doesn't have it yet...
