What is the maximum spped with the tow/haul on? Do I need to watch on my rpm's to make sure I do not go in the red? Thanks

The main thing to worry about is the rpms when you take it out of overdrive and while downshifting.. The over-rev limiter will not work when downshifting thereby increasing the change of reving over the 3200 rpms max engine speed..

I would guess around 70 with the 4.10s that should be right around 3200RPM. I do not believe you can overrev it, it will be stopped by the limiter, but as mentioned the limiter cannot prevent an over rev when you are at a speed that would be over redline in 3rd and you turn OD off. the My '03 does not have TH mode, I tow with OD off when I am going below 55 MPH as the engine lugs in OD below that speed. With the TC locked in 3rd it is much easier to drive than in OD below 55.

With your 4.10 ratio you shouldn't have to use tow/haul much. Once you get er over 60mph just let it run in OD. Even running with 20,000+lbs. behind me I can still run in OD on level ground and on some long grades as long as I keep my speed up without it wanting to hunt for gears.
