Tranny wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear and threw a SES light. Drove it home, slowly, and shut if off and started back up and drove around the block and went through all the gears althoough a little rough. Took the truck to Autozone today to have them pull the codes and of course the SES light goes off right when I get there. Had the guy hook up the scanner anyways but he said my port wasn't working as he couldn't get a connection. Took the truck to Schucks to have them read it and same thing, port not working couldn't make a connection. Any idea what's going on or what to do???

Check your fuses, your cigarrette lighter isn't working either I'd bet.

Nailed it with the blown fuse, 15AMP "CIGAR" fuse was blown. I'm guessing it happened when we plugged in my sons gameboy to recharge. Any idea why it would blow?

Will try to get the code numbers tomorrow.
