koopdaddy 06-28-2004, 01:17 PM Recently I have been noticing that my truck is taking off from lights very slowly. The problem gets worse in higher elevations. In fact, it is scary to make a left hand turn at the higher elevations. Truck has exhaust, intake and EDGE. I have disconnected the edge and the problem is still there. Even the EDGE doesn't feel like it did. The truck barely smokes even on level 4. Any Ideas???? koopdaddy 06-28-2004, 01:50 PM PS, the truck has 35" tires on it, however they have been on their since 500 miles. The truck has nearly 9K now. Mac tbone1227 06-28-2004, 07:10 PM LOL - good one Mac - I noticed the same thing on my ride after I lifted it and put 305's on, it was more apparent with the quad box than without it or with the new TTS Tow Tune ( not as noticeable as with the quad) but it is noticeable over a stock ride which i believe is due to the lift and wheel size. However, wouldn't the truck be smoking alot more with a stuck vane or bad turbo. I mean, less air = more fuel after. Or does the computer compensate so well that this will not happen. It barely smokes on the Edge level 5, I also am noticing that the trucks top end is alot worse also. Maybe the vanes are stuck midway.... Any more info would be great. Truck has a triple disc converter as well as other upgrades.
