Just wanting an upscale front end

Obviously headlights and trim and grille but do they all mount up the same?

I think you'll find that the parts bolt right up, but I'm not sure about the electrical hook up. There may be a difference in the harness that goes to the back of the headlamp buckets.

Thanks.
yea I think I might have to buy some wiring pigtails from the autoparts store or find and adapter.

I was wrong. After looking at the wiring schematic, it looks like the hood harness is different, but the connectors from the chassis side to the hood are the same. For the 4 light system (RPO-HPR) there is another wire spliced into the harness to run the extra lights. On both sides, they simply splice into the light green wire (ckt #11) after the connector going to the hood, to the headlamps and run it through the other lamp bulb (high beam) and then to ground (blk wire, ckt# 350).

look at the head light buckets .... i think that they are molded into the hood .
you might try to replace the grill { screwed in } with GMC chrome grill and have the single headlight bezels chomed ????

the company i worked for one of the plants made both of those hoods...i also had a helping hand in the plastics involved but yes you should be able to swap it out no problem...if i worked for the company i could have gotten you one for free...there a pricy hood though

so, can anybody here look up all of the chevy part numbers needed to do this conversion? Buckets, brackets, chrome pieces, etc.?

hood has to be replaced with 4 headlight hood, buckets are part of the hood.

Yep. I looked at it today and the hood is molded for only a single headlight on each side.
Oh well. I wonder if the new style grille (mesh style no chrome bar) will bolt up and maybe i will paint the grey trim around the headlights (I know those are removable) white to match.
