I'm starting to wonder if stainsless is essential. I just 'donated' my 83 diesel rabbit w/several 100Ks on it (odometer broke) with the original aluminize exhaust system functional and w/no holes. Perhaps our diesel pollutants aren't as erosive/corossive as gassers? I know the stainsless in what I can afford will discolor & turn brown anyway. Just some thots I'm toying with. Maybe the current 5" aluminized w/an 8" tip made from a stainsless triple wall flue stovepipe would be the ticket?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif I know thats not the positive response you seek but still, something to consider. No there is some confusion here there are no 5 inch MBRP systems at this time. The tips are 5 inch and available in 4 different styles but the tubing in the system is 4 icnh mandrel bent. Call us if you have any questions or concerns we will be glad to answer them. We have been selling the MBRP system longer than anyone in the USA, we occassionally have this confusion happen due the the tip being listed as 5 ich etc.
