Have you seen many misreading gauges?
The last few tanks , mine is reading like I am getting 35mpg. approx 300 mi. since fill and still 3/4 full. Used to show less than 1/2 at 300 mi.

You might wanna have that checked out, its possible that the sending unit is acting up. Dont let 'er run dry on ya.

Had it to dealer last week and problem was the sending unit.
Pt # 25326856
Anyone having this sort of problem may want to have it checked before warranty runs out as the unit is quite expensive.
$387 retail
$193 GM parts direct

I had a Dodge Cummins before this, and my fuel guage never did work right from the day I owned it (bought used w/ 100,000 on it).
I never did have it fixed for the same reason. It was expensive, and I just learned to live with it.
Is this some kind of common problem with diesel fuel? Do they eat fuel sendors for some reason???
