my normal running temp is about 15-170 but it some tiles gets up to 200 -210 when towing. i did 1 1650 mile round trip pulling a trailor and the truck ran for 13 straight hours and by the end of the trip i was in city type driving. and taking off i herd a loud wooshing noise like when you jump in your truck and you take right off. it junda draggs butt for 3-5 seconds and them runs fine. this only happend in the city and in first second and some times third. i just figuared that it was from towing the car and the load i had. the temp out side was 98 and very humid.

That loud wooshing noise was your fan kicking on and then when it cools enuf it disconnects.

ok thanks i wasnt to worried about it but it was the first time it happened while warmed up


now what about the tranny temp?


is that normal running temp?

I'd say that's about right mines at 160 -170 or so running empty and even gets close to 200 on hot days just blasting around town. so it sounds good to me. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
