I thought this truck had daytime running lights but they don't work. They flash as you lock the doors with the remote so there is power to them.
Also Must be something wrong to headlight switch or I don;t know how to use it. It is speing loaded to Auto. But says you can tunn them off. But even if I hold it in the off position they are still on and they are on when in parking light mode. Does the engine have to be off to get the lights to go off?

The DRL should work during the day, maybe the sensor is bad and the truck thinks its night time all the time.

The headlight switch is spring loaded and if the lights are on and you turn it all the way to the left and let go the lights should be off. To turn them back on turn the switch all the way to the left again and release and they should come back on. Or you can just turn the switch to the right to turn the parking lights or head lights on manually.

OR

Are you or the truck from Canada ?

The headlight overide dosent work on Canadian trucks, their lights are on all the time.

Is there a way to make the Head light switch work right on a Canadian Truck?

If your in the US now you should be able to get your service manager to reprogram the BCM to US specs with the Tech2 and it should fix the lights. I'm not postive it will work but thats what I read.

It appears the replacing the fuse for the 3rd Brake light also made my DRL work.

This is now a USA truck but I do go to and from Alaska every year.

I'll have to ask about the reprogram. Thanks
