It controls the volume on your radio, changes presets, changes CD tracks, changes between cd, am, fm, xm etc. It also controls all the functions of your DIC.

IF you are ordering a truck, get it!

Too much to list.

Instant fuel mileage, trip meters, range, change between english and metric, change functions on the truck such as high idle, honk and lights on lock and unlock, and on and on and on. Probably 100 different functions.

Probably most who didn't get it, regret it once they see what it does.

To me the volume control of the stereo is more then enough justification.Edited by: Max Power

All of my life Ive always had to turn up the volume, change the station or the cd track with my hand...now that i have the buttons on the wheel i still use my hand to do all this...............it takes a while to get used to but well worth it in my book.

I agree—get it! I use mine constantly while on the road to work the radio, the trip odometer, check average mileage, range, etc., and the personal, individualized programming of all the functions is great! The list of things that can be controlled from the DIC seems endless. A friend wanted to save a few $$$ and now he regrets it!
