Would anyone out there happen to have, or know where i could get another steel chromed 16" 8 lug 5 spoke wheel for my 2002 2500HD. The dealer says my shake is caused by a bent rim, but they cant say for sure how it is bent no visible dents, but they say it may be bent in the center area. They want $209.00 for a new one so i was hoping to find one a bit cheaper. Any help would be appreciated, thanks once again, Marchttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

You should be able to find them on ebay all day long. Also search under "Duramax Wheel". http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Thanks for the info guys. I tried both ebay and on here and couldn't find any singles for sale. Guess i'll have to keep my eyes open and sooner or later one will show up.

Schrams auto in Waterford, MI would have one I would bet. I see your from Toledo, but not sure of your travels to the Detroit area. I have the phone # at work so if you want it, just hollar.
Should be an easier item to get a hold of.

I have the 'shakes'. My dealer has so far replaced 2 rims and all 6 tires. Still shakes. Now they are guessing rotors. They have had the truck for close to 10 days (on and off). The district GM rep is supposed to be coming out.? Can't a good tire shop tell if the rimms out of wack?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

I know what you mean Taz. I went out and got another rim and had it put on the right rear which is the one they said was bent , and guess what it still shakes. They also said my back tires feathering in the middle was caused by the bent rim, but the tire they are saying was bent had an "F" on the side which means it was a front tire that they rotated to the back, and it wasnt feathered. The feathered one is now on the right front. I'm not pleased at all with the job they did and I will be calling them to set up a time to take my truck back again. The noise in the steering column that they said was the intermediate sector shaft, and that they had repaired it is still there too. Their repair was some lube, and about .5 hours labor. I thought a tire shop could tell that too, but i guess not. Good luck, Marc
