This is the 4th or 5th time my tranny has limped. It is an 06 duramax, lifted on 40" tires, 5 inch exhaust and bully dog power pup downloader. I always keep the bully dog on tow/economy except a few times I have driven in Performance mode. I do not drive it hard at all. Mainly wanted the bully dog to correct for tire size.

The other day it limped and unlike the past times, my downloader will not clear the code. Took it to the dealer an they are not able to clear the code with a Tech 2 either. The truck is still there after a few days and it seems from my discussions with them that they are still scratching their heads over it. They at one point said that their mechanic does not have a huge amount of experience with the Allison tranny which made me a bit nervous. After the mechanic not having much luck, they now have their electrical guy on it. Also with no luck yet.

By the way the DTC is P0658. Something pertaining to a transmission silinoid. I looked up the code online and found a description that said "Actuator supply voltage A circuit low". Any help that you guys have would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss for what to do. Thanks in advance.

A stocker will never last with 40s and a tuner might as well take it to MikeL and have the trans built.

I pushed my tranny hard and solenoid A got stuck and the trouble code would'nt turn off, So I used Efilive and reflashed the TCM ((erased it and put it back)
and it's been fine ever since.
Don't ask me why, But it worked for me.

Just like these guys said give Mike L a shout and he'll be able to troubleshoot it pretty quick and let you know what needs to be done.

I answered you in a pm. Wire 111 at the computer should be checked for short to ground.
