I have a 2001 Chevy 3500 Silverado with Duramax- Has anyone out there had this problem. On an extended trip the truck will stop pulling itself and when I coast to side of road the engine will shut down when the vehicle rolls to a stop. Turn the key off and restart and will travel another 10-40 miles and repeat the same problem. Engine runs fine and no signs of fuel filter problems. Coolant temperature is normal and oil pressure as well. Checked all fluid levels and they are ok. Any help would be appreciated.

Just so that we understand what you mean by "no signs of fuel filter problems". When was the last time you changed the filter? Have you changed it since this started? Could it be a bad load of fuel?
No codes and no smoke?
