there is supposed to be a hole with a rubber gromet and you just slice the end of the gromet when your ready to use it.maybe GM forgot on that one?i found the answers to the prep package on GM upfitters.com and also talked to an engineer from GM regarding the suspension in the front of my truck which has the duramax.they were helpful regarding the prep package.good luck.

Thanks for the info on GM Upfitters. I think I know where the grommet is supposed to be. However its not there on minehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gifI wonder if tye also forgot to put in the suspension parts on the front end for the plow prep package???http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Question.gifAnyway I had to leave it at the Dealers today for a few things to be fixed and I left them the picture from Upfitters of the grommet and asked them to leave me one on the front seat. I'll put it in myself.
Now the big question ishttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gifHas anyone installed a Western Pro Plus with a Ultra mount and do you have any secrets and hints on how to make the job easy???
Thanks for any helphttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I have the western pro with ultra mount and it was super easy to install. took longer to do the wiring than anything. did not have to remove anything but the tow hooks! I have sence modified them and put them back on.

Thanks for the info. I just finished mine and yes the mount part was easy. I did not even have to notch the wind dam under the bumper. As for the wiring. What a mess. Where did you mount your motor controler and the module unit??
Also what did you do to modify your tow hooks??
Thanks for all the info.
