How can I tell if I have one of these? I tried to order it in my '07 cc classic but the dealer told me it wasn't specified in the order "book". Can the original be switched out for this without major changes? Does anyone know the part # for it? Does it require a different belt? Yes it is an allison/lbz, caved to the temptation & traded my '05 in. Thanks.

I swapped out the 105 for a 145 in my '04 with no other parts needed.

It seems every dealer gets different info. I wanted cab clearance lights but was told they were only available on duallys but I see other SRW trucks with them.

Should list it on the alt too.

I ordered 8x5 dual 105amp alternators on my 07.

Order it online from an alternator place.

It should fit, but you may need a slightly longer belt.

You might also need a new fusible link.

Turbotug bought it used from me, I bought in on Ebay and then didn't need it. Pretty much all of them are the same, they will fit the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 8.1 and Dmax. I bought this one for a 5.3 and ended up getting a warranty on it.
