Looks to be about 1400 plus shipping from what I see on their website. Kinda pricey for me. Dont get me wrong I'd love to have one though...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

Duallyvette 06-25-2004, 10:59 PM I wonder how much more it weighs than the stock bumper.
guitarman 06-26-2004, 12:59 PM they quoted me $1200 to fab one without the grill gaurd attached
mahalkita 06-26-2004, 01:20 PM The nicest but by far the most expensive Bumpers (IMHO) are made by offroadalloys (5052 aircraft aluminum construction, weight complete with brushguard 140 lbs). Check it out under:
http://www.offroadalloys.com
They also make the same kind as a rear bumper and side steps. These are very pricey (wished I could afford them) - but maybe someone of you Folks can afford them...
Another good source is road amor. Check it out under:
http://www.roadarmor.com
These Stealth Bumpers cost approx. half but are MUCH heavier (approx. 3 times more) than the aluminum construction from offroadalloys. The steel construction is approx. 30 % stronger than the 5052 aluminum.
Of course there is also the question of looks (design) for the people who just want to have a cool looking truck, its a matter of personal preference.Edited by: mahalkita
ROBZUK 06-27-2004, 08:15 PM I just recieved my BUCKSTOP bumper, outstaning craftsmanship, fit and customer service. As soon as the camera gets out of the shop I'll post some pics.

are you saying the road armor weighs 420 lbs ?! 3 times 140lb. might check into first http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif i have one, it is 160lbs of steel.
the road armor is nice, gussetted internally for strength and weight reduction. two sets of PIAA light openings and desinged for WARN 15K winch. if you look closely at it, there are several angled surfaces that really make it stand apart from others.
the picture needs to be updated as it makes the bumper seem to stand out too much, but this will give you an idea
BassinRVer 06-29-2004, 04:57 PM I which I knew about these bumber before I bought my Ranch Hand look-a-likes. Those are sweeeeeet looking.
reno4648 06-29-2004, 11:05 PM You might want to check on the weight before ordering one. A friend of mine just put the exact bumper that you have in the picture (buckstop) on his F350. It took 3 people to just pick it up and it squatted the front pretty badly.
It also took over 3 months after he ordered it for it to get in.
Just my opinion but I think it's entirely too much weight on the front supspension on these trucks.
socal LLy 06-30-2004, 10:03 PM I have the buck stop bumper and 16,500 warn winch and the front end is no lower but fills heavyhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/397_100_0453.JPG
dieselman 07-01-2004, 06:25 AM ski1,
Those light openings look cut open not frenched in like the buckstop, is this right?
hdmax 07-01-2004, 09:00 PM I have the buck stop bumper and 16,500 warn winch and the front end is no lower but fills heavyhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/397_100_0453.JPG The more I see the Buckstop, the more I like it. I have always liked the Trail Ready, But the curves look better then the angles.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
dieselman,
they are frenched in. I need to update my picture to show more detail. grill guards are also welded, not bolted on as the buckstop appears to do. Laser cut logos are cool tooEdited by: ski1
Deadeye 07-06-2004, 04:29 PM I just installed a Ranch Hand "Bull Nose" on the front and a "Cowboy" on the rear. Shipped on two small pallets they weighed total of 361 lbs. Well made and both cost less with shipping than a Buckstop or a Road Armor. pics coming later . . .
hdmax 07-06-2004, 10:36 PM dieselman,
they are frenched in. I need to update my picture to show more detail. grill guards are also welded, not bolted on as the buckstop appears to do. Laser cut logos are cool too I would never get the grill guard, but I think that with it being bolted on it could cut down on rust and repair cost if you were to hit a deer.
Deadeye 07-09-2004, 12:44 PM Here are some pics (sorry not very good) of the Ranch Hand replacement bumpers I just installed:
Rear 'Cowboy'
http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/61F_Ranch_Hand_Cowboy.jpg
and the front replacement 'Bullnose'
http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/Ranch_Hand_Bullnose.jpg
Installed these with help of a buddy. took good part of the day to do. turns out that the front is an older version and Ranch Hand is going to ship me a new, updated version. I did not ask them about this. they identifed this issue themselves and are just going to do it.
I have done business with lots of companies in my time and I genuinely belive that this company ranks in the top 2-3% in terms of customer service and responsiveness. they are so congenial, responsive and helpful that it is almost unbelieveable.
both bumpers + shipping to CO was just over $1200.
Let me know if you have any questions. (this front take-off is going back to them. if you are interested in it and are close buy MAYBE they would be talked into letting you have it for less. . . I don't know just an idea)
