At times my truck has a loping idle. I have been to dealer & changed fuel filter. No loss of power. I have removed Juice and it makes no difference. Any ideas?

There are programing updates for 01's and early 02's. also could be a sticking fuel pressure regulator, those seem to be more of an issue when hot.

Mac, with some patience and some torx sockets, its can be done, its held to the pump with 3 t-25 screws. Getting a good angle to them can be fun, I use a socket I made up, its a t-25 bit bonded with a 1/4 drive 1/4 swivel socket. Thats what works for me. I pull the upper hose/pipe off to gain access. I think the last one I did was about 40 minutes or so...

Lopey Idle ! I see you removed any power boxes, so you may have a problem.

You should hear the new Quad Stealth 215 idle http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif (A race only box ? )

You would think the truck has a problem, but it sorta sounds like one of my old big blocks all cammed out.
