I have a '04 LLY and was wondering if the power camper mirrors are supposed to go to thier preset position for driver 1 or 2. I always have to adjust them after the wife drives the truck. The manual says they are supposed to but I've tested them and they don't move from pos. 1 to 2. Also do they have the curb view feature? I havn't tried adjusting them while in reverse yet.

No they don't change with the presets. No curb view feature either. These functions are only available in the non towing mirrors.

Probably because the mirrors are not GM's design. They were developed and the rights were bought from power vision. So because they are no GM's design the motors etc are different and probably won't calibrate with GM's system. At least if I had to guess, that would be my guess. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

I'll have to try setting it up, but my reading of the owners manual led me to believe that the power extendable camper mirrors could be programed to provide curb view assist.

I've been all through this with GM and Max Power is right. The optional power extension trailering mirrors by PowerVision do not contain those features i.e. memory and tilt-down. I believe those features are included in the intermediate mirrors that are also an option, but definitely not on the PowerVisions.

Yep, I learned that one after I ordered mine... It is nice to be able to see around the wide trailers...
