I Lost Power In My Engine Has A Loud Pinging Noise Like An Old Dodge Diesel I Changed Fuel Filter But Still No Power. Could Not See Where There Was Any Contamination In Fuel From Draining Old Filter. I really don't know much, but when I hear loss of power and pinging, that makes me think of a bad injector.

I had the same exact thing happen. It was the injector harness. There is a repair bulletin out on this and GM has a repair kit.
