I want to build a low compression project engine with a 6.2 block for main webbing strength. Does anyone know about the 6.5 head gasket and head compatibility with the 6.2 block. I'll be asking more questions about this topic as time goes on.

head gaskets are the same, just make sure you get a good set. you putting marine pistons in this engine? Edited by: Texas Diesel Guy

I haven't gotten that far yet, but eventually I will be looking for forged ceramic coated 18:1 pistons. The diesel page has built a 550+ hp 6.2 so I'll probably be checking out what they've done.
