Most of what I've read about the programmers has to do with dyno numbers and dragstrip e.t.'s. How do these units compare to each other for towing. I get the feeling that Edge has lost their edge. My 03 with Edge on #2 setting was great. I don't want to blow 2 or 3 hundred bucks for the Edge if it doesn't have an advantage hauling. Thanks for the input.

If you're towing, go with the Hypertech. Never had any problem with mine whatsoever...

Check the post I made a few days ago about a towing comparison I did with the Bully Dog and Edge.

Prostar8.20,

I wouldn't say Edge has lost it punch as much as all the other manufacturers have stepped up their products to be a more competitive competitior.

Nice job Josh, just what I was looking for. Mark, I'm with you on the Edge. I'm still leaning towards the Edge product because I had such good luck with my last one and loved the LB7/ Edge combo. I still think Edge is alittle on the high side for cost.

I loved the edge on my 01. Very smooth and predictable.

I'm glad it could help you guys out. That's why AlligatorPerformance loaned me the unit, and that's why I did the test.
