Well i have 97,500 miles on my 1999 24v and i had been driving for about an hour straight and then i stoped at a friends house. about 30 min later i went to go to the store and i started her up got out of the aparment complex and my check gauges light was on. I had no oil pressure, i was like F$&#! so i pulled over checked my oil, it was fine, took the oil cap off with the truck running oil still flowing, and no knocking from the motor. then i relized the when im waiting for the "wait to start light" to go off, that the check gauges light would come in as soon as i truned the key forward, so i figured it had to be elecrictal. and a gear head friend of mine narrowed it down to the oil pressure sending unit.

so Monday i get to drop her off at the dealership.so warrenty can fix it and my rear speed sensor.

any one else had this happen?

Thanks,

Lonnie

Warranty on a '99? WOW! You do have lower mileage but it's 5 years old.

I usually go out of warranty during the first year of ownership. What you wrote was quite a surprise. Glad it was nothing serious.

I had to replace the sending unit on my 1990. It was reading lower that it should have. Cummins sold me an "updated" sending unit.
