Hi All,

I just got my new rig and am really stoked on it so far. I am new to the diesel truck world, came out of a 2002 BMW M3, so it's taking some adjustment, especially parking http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif. But I am impressed with everything so far. I (of course) plan on upgrading the engine and also the trans. Have any of you had experience with ATS and their "Co-Pilot" product for the Allison? Any feedback? And they speak highly of the Xcelerator (for LB7) and the successor, the Enforcer (for LLY). Anybody Beta-tested that unit?

Also of note, I've averaged 16.0 MPG for the first 300 miles, pretty impressive for mixed city and highway driving during break-in. Just sprayed SPi bedlining and mounted SnugLid SL, makes for a nice lookin truck. Anyway, glad to have found this group, definitely some knowledgeable folks. Cheers. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big%20Smile.gif

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the site. A lot of knowledgeable people here so if you have any questions ask away.

I have a ATS dual exaust kit which I like very much but I don't know about their Tranny kit's. I have a Suncoast kit which works very well.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

And Edge is a good company for a performance box.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

And the best part of your post is that your a BMW (yuppie mobile) convert. I'm glad you've come over to the Good side from the Dark side, maybe you can bring a few of your other beimmer friends with you. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Thanks guys, funny comments. Don't discount the M series BMW's though. I did for sure feel guilty in a BMW, like a yup for sure. But they are truly amazing from an engineering standpoint; wait until the new M5 comes out with a V10, it's gonna be real mean. On a bright note, my friends in Europe say that diesel is all the rage over there for performance cars. The trend is to have a big beast of a Benz spewing out black smoke . . . . .

Also, anybody run Biodiesel in the LLY?
