91 GMC 3/4 ton, k chassis, C (light duty) engine code.
Every so often, I get a code 32. I just (well a month or so ago) replaced TPS sensor, vacuum pump, MAP sensor, alternator....should I keep on going.....?
Anyhow, I know its something to do with EGR. Can someone point me in the right direction. Its not causing any driving issues, its just annoying. Normally comes up when I drive in fairly low speed (about 60km at 14-1600 rpm, or around there), many times when OD kicks in.
Thanks guys.

I have not had a code 32 error. Replaced TPS when I was having Code 23 errors. Code 32 by my book is Barometric pressure switch (BARO), EGR valve diagnostic switch or Electronic vacuum regulator valve (EVRV). Not sure what BARO or EVRV are or where they hide them. Most people here tend to "modify" EGR to their own specs. Mine included a big frost plug in the hole under the EGR.
Hope someone else with more knowledge can help.

There are very few people with the electronic engine control system... And even less of them that know how to fix it...
From what I can tell, code 32 is set by a problem in the vacuum circuit of the EGR system. For it to be set you have to be going at a speed of 30 mph for ten seconds or more (don't ask me why it is set up that way). What this means is that the ECM is getting a signal that says the amount of vacuum is incorrect. This could either mean that the vacuum level really is wrong or that the sensor is malfunctioning. I think I'd start by looking for vacuum leaks...
Hope this helps! I used to have a good manual that explained the whole electronic control and troubleshooting system, but I don't have it anymore and can't remember all that stuff (worked on too many different types of cars between now and then - stuff gets all mixed up)...
