So I've got a bully dog triple dog downloader with outlook and a KN intake. Truck is goin to shop next week for tranny upgrades and silverline exhaust. Whats the next big power adder? I've been looking at nitrous and was wondering how safe for the engine it is. What type of 1/4 mile times would I be looking at? With just the programmer and intake i have a best of 14.0s at 87 mph.

Can the K&N and run AC Delco paper in a stock airbox. The Delco filters better. The K&N flows a couple percent better when both are brand new, but once each filter starts collecting dirt the Delco flows better and holds more dirt. Further, dyno tests have not shown any difference in power levels regardless of the air intake used. Now there will be a point where you need more air, but the stock AC Delco works well up to around 450-500 RWHP.

The next step in power is EFI live. 500-600 RWHP tunes are available.
