gandgracing 10-07-2006, 11:28 AM Just wandering if anyone has experienced an odd sound coming from what seems to be under the hood after the torque converter locks up in 4th gear? I know the LBZ does not have a wastegate, but that is the sound it sounds like. Its kind of a growling sound. Doesn't do it if I'm really on it. Any one else? The solenoid that is used in the pre-MY06 trucks will sometimes cause the valve to flutter while it is engaging resulting in that noise. Machinator 10-09-2006, 10:40 AM No, I don't think so. The real fix was going from the PWM (pulse width modulated) to a VBS (variable bleed) solenoid for the TCC circuit. | ||
