Ok, dont wanna go into details about my 5500 but I'm not replacing it with another GM product.
That being said, anyone have any input on the RXT hauler or RXT itself in how it performs rides etc etc. I know the Freightliner has durability issues and I dont really want a Ford F550 so what else is there in a MDT setup.
Ill elaberate on the 5500 at a later time.

I've talked to several IHC operators and they are having tons of electrical & engine sensor problems. Sorry to say, but you may just be trading one type of problem for another.

We have a IH 4300, 33000GVW and love it. Though it has been in the shop a couple of times with electrical issues. Otherwise, thumbs up...

Instead of blowing $125,000 on International's version of a finished MDT, you need to take a look at this guy in Texas. http://www.2lcustomtrucks.com/international.html
These trucks are tricked for about $100,000. If the link get pulled PM me.:ro)
I own his 4500 and the workmanship is very good.

I saw that site actually.
The CXT is the 125k, but the RXT was quoted to us at 85-90k. Gotta sell our 5500 first though, I dont need two of them.

The CXT is huge and i wouldnt doubt it. Thats alot of air to try and push.
My 5500 isnt a whole lot better, it only gets 8.5 in the best conditions. Towing the boat its more like 7.5
The CXT is also another 1/3 more tq. (950tq vs 605tq)

ah ok, gotcha. Ya I wouldnt want that cause it would be back to the underpowered engine like whats in the Topkicks.
