What PIDs should I select to check my injectors. The ones Ive selected now are Balancing Fuel Flow Rate #'s 1-8 and Injector Pulse Width #'s 1-8. For Balancing Fuel Flow Rate I am getting avg. values of -.18, 2.41,
-3.51, .18, 2.11, -.07, -.47, and -.30 respectively. This is at idle. Once I give it some throttle they all go to 0 and remain there.
Injector pulse width I am am getting avg. values (at idle) of .665, .722, .601, .672, .714, .675, .665, and .665 respectively. Once I apply some throttle they all even out and at ~50mph with some throttle but not a lot, they all read .626 across the board. So, I assume everything is fine. Im not having any problems, rough idleing, or anything else. Im just curious. So, what PIDs should I select to check my injectors and if I have the right ones selected right now, how do those numbers look?
thanks
Jake

When you have the efi section open click "search this forum" and then you can search for balance rates just in the efi forum.

its helpful to monitor ECT and rpm while logging as well as balancing rates
and check on a cold start up and check in neutral park and drive with foot on the break this is just what i gathered from what i read
hope this helps

You have the right PIDS. You should check them in Park and in Drive. ECT and RPM are good ones as well. Balance rates always go to zero when you hit the htrottle.

Once you have them selected, save them as a new PID file and label it Balance Rates, then you can go back at any time.

Be sure to record the data when you are checking Balance Rates. That way you will have it stored for later comparision in a few months.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Just so happens I did/have been doing exactly the things you list here.
Thanks everyone.
