While searching for parts for my Impala SS I found that summitracing has the Edge p/n EGE-EJC1000A ready for "Monday" shipment at $607.95.

Just a savvy shopper...

In my opinion it is not always worth it to go with the best price. I will always pay a little more for better service, reputation etc.

Do a bit of reading here and you will be able to see who the good vendors are.

You can't go wrong with either of the vendors that posted here. I have dealt with both and both have gone above and beyond for me.

When the time comes that something is wrong and you need good customer service, the price will be long forgotten.

Good way to think about pricing.... as long as you are not getting bent over customer service goes along way.

Wow, I sense a little shootin match here with the vendors.

Price does still matter, because every vendor is expected to take care of their customers. That is just good business practice.

I can't even get your website to show the Edge for an LBZ. I keep getting "sorry, not available" messages.

I want to mod one more truck. My 3500 has a bully dog now. I want something that can be used on more than one truck. I have (3) Duramax trucks, and refuse to pay $500 for each truck. I already have the BDPP, so if I can find a programmer that can work on all 3, I'll use it on the other 2. One is a C5500, will that still work?

Couldn't agree more - Paying a couple bucks more now can help you build an invaluable relationship w/ a good shop. The payoff down the road could end up saving you untold amounts of $, time, & frustration.

I agree that sometimes the ultimate lowest price isnt the best.

I would personnaly talk with some of the supporting vendors here. You can chat with em here and see what kinda service people seem to get from em and see how helpfull they are. All their prices are probably within a few buck of each other and the "low ball guys" you may find. Whats 5 bucks on a 600$ item anyway :)

$790 includes our overhead mount.
The other price is for Edge LBZ module and attitude monitor kit by itself.
Shipping is free for this item to lower 48.

2006LBZ,

Nope it's not on the site yet, unlike a lot of sellers out there we won't list a part till it's in stock and ready for sale. Lots of others have listed them months in advance and cause a lot of confusion etc. Been really busy too so we'll get to it when the phones slow down some. The site is important but we want customers to get a human when they call as a 1st priority.

I was wondering what some of the alternative mounts for the Attitude were for trucks with the sunroof. I already have gauges on the pillar so thats out, what other mounts and locations are there and where to buy?

I have a sunroof and the attitude fits nice and tight in the overhead with a sunroof--just need to grind a little plastic to be able to push the bottom button. That little spot isn't good for anything else anyway.:grd:

The attidude fits the contures of the bottom of the dash panel beside your center console on the drivers side. I did this on my last truck (05') Don't have any pics to show you though.

There is a 3/4" difference in the Sunroof console opening and the Attitude monitor.

Are you thinking of fabbing something up? Either a bracket that would stick out, or a mounting piece that you can install after cutting the OEM overhead?

I have played with a number of concepts, none of which met my standards. :( Having something stick out away from the console just bugs me for some reason. Surgery didn't appeal to me either.

Right now I have a number of consoles on order from Tahoes and Denalis with Sunroofs. I want to verify wiring as well as fit and finish after removing the AC controls.
