tbone1227 06-24-2004, 11:32 AM At idle or stopped at a light it seems like a fan up front of the motor will go on and off ( thats what it sounds like anyways ), somewhat like surging of the fan, it doesnt affect the idle speed nor do i feel anything when driving, I just hear some type of fan going on and off ?? This drove me nuts on my 2000 Tacoma. I haven't noticed it on my 2500HD LLY yet. Turn the defrost off and see what happens.
