I have a strange noise coming from under the hood until the engine gets some heat into it. It sounds like something is vibrating right after I get off the throttle. After the temperture comes up in the engine it goes away but is right back after shutting it off for even an hour. I had it to the dealer and they can't simulate the problem but offered an opinion that it may be a waste gate. Whatever that is. Also my fuel mileage is down, could there be a connection? Has anyone else come across this?

you don't have a wastegate, if you have an lly. Could be a loose heat shield or internally in the turbo.

lol if your dealer told you it could be a wastegate and you have an LLY, then find another dealer
