http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif You guys and gals will love this one. I took my truck in because I had no interior lights and no cargo lamps. Turns out the headlight switch went bad. I have a remote start on my truck and used it to cool down the truck. When I jumped in, I forgot to put the key in and hit the brake. Normally the engine dies and I swear and restart with the key. Well, not this time. I can't get the gear shift out of park. I stand on the brake harder and then realize I didn't put the key in. Put the key in and start towards home. I hit 40 mph and the engine cuts out. Let up and try again, same thing. Remember the remote start and hit the button on the remote. Boom, the truck takes off. Get home and start checking the wires that hook to the brake circuit. No problems, but then I realize I have no brake lights. KISS methodology says check the fuse. So, I pull out the book and find the underhood fuse box to be the place. When I look at the fuse, it looks crooked http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif and then I notice that the slot below is missing a fuse http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif. I pull out the crooked fuse to find there are no pins to plug in a fuse. I put the fuse in the spot below and have brake lights and a working remote start kill again. You do not want to be without brake lights in Dallas rush hour. I could have been rear ended easily. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ouch.gif I sent a nastygram to the service advisor this morning telling him how dissatisfied I was. They can't find the lopey idle either and my wife's best friend actually commented on it yesterday at lunch. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif She drives a furd. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif
