ag4gt 06-24-2004, 09:18 AM I have jacked my wife’s’ Duramax up a couple of times to work on it. I use a 3K pound floor jack. I have been picking up one side of the front end at a time (one wheel and then the other) and positioning jack sands under each A-arm. I have always been a little uncomfortable picking up the front end by the corner of the frame. I would like to know how others lift the front end of their ¾ ton trucks. I can lift it from the center and raise both front wheels at the same time. No problems yet... It will BEND and the jack can slip off. I had some goofs putting tires on my truck and did just that. I put the floor jack under the control arm then put jack stands under the frame just behind the front door (GM truck) Max Power....
