I called looking for some Racor R660S filters for my secondary fuel filter & the person said he cross referenced the filter to a Baldwin BF1223. Will this filter be as good as the racor filter. Only thing with the baldwin filter is i wont be able to use the clear site bowl on bottom... I believe they were correct on the BF7727 replacing the OEM fuel filter and I'm almost positive it is a rebadged RACOR OEM.

You shouldn't have too much trouble finding the R660S cartridge. I have a local diesel/hydraulic shop on my way home that usually keeps them on the shelf.
