: Run cable out from inside cab?

I am looking at running a video monitor cable from our gooseneck 2 horse to a portable display in the cab of our 2500HD CC SB. Hoping to install one permanent cable run from the cab to the front of the bed (to plug into a cable that runs from the trailer camera up to the gooseneck).

Dropped underneath the cab to look for candidate locations but didn't see any obvious openings.

Any advice? Know of any good/easy/standard places to lead a small diameter cable out of the cab?

Out from under the 3rd brake light, out the vents in the back of the cab between the bed, or if you are going to drill.....I drilled a hole for my amp power wire in one of those glued in plugs in the floor of the cab. I dont like to drill holes but figured if it ever rusted away it wount get into the floor of the truck and its easy to replace. Use a gromet though.

I ran coax cable for various radio antennae out the grommet for the trans shifter cable under the drivers floorboard. Tight fit. You can pull the trim pieces along the bottom edge of the door frame and lift the carpet to get to the inside part.

I was thinking the shift boot as well if your headed south with the cable. There is a punch out thing on the pass side as well that can be utilized
