i just got a new lly 2 months ago and love it but i just got back from a 1650 mile trip while towing a trailor and discovered that these stock mirrors suck. they arnt wide anough to see your cargo on the trailor. my question is


can i buy the power extending mirrors and just put them on or do i need a reflash? also does any one know the price of these mirros? my chevy dealer said that their is a gm web site with all the prices of all them gm accessories. i havnt found it.

will the re-flash cost anything out of pocket? if so how much? or is it just worth going for other mirrors? i want power mirrors but for them to extent any tips?

Some dealers charge 1/2 hour. Depends on the dealer.

I got mine from tophog off this forum they are factory gm power extending mirrors with turn singal in mirror mine is a 2003 i installed them and dealer reflashed them for 30 dollars you can find them in vendor section the price was 380 for both one year ago i use mine alot no problems to date
