There are no programmers out yet.

There are several companies with boxes available. Bullydog, Quadzilla, and Edge is doing Betas.

Also TTS can reprogram your ECM.

There might be more that I am not aware of.

I was at Edge headquarters today and was told by Tom Carlin (President), that the Edge Juice for the LLY's will ship out tomorrow to dealers. Should be in their hands by Friday for purchase. The wait is over.........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

Harley99,

Great news. What are the final numbers. . . I'm fairly interested. . .as I'm sure many others are.

Thanks,

Dennis

To which numbers do you speak? If asking about dyno #'s I'm sure that Edge will post soon. They had their shop truck on the dyno while I was there but had to leave before they had finished testing.

The module is great. I have had one for a few weeks now and have seen some pretty impressive numbers. At Kennedy's, we dynoed before and after the Suncoast Stage III upgrade. I don't have the graphs in front of me so these arent exact figures. I got the OK today from Rob at EDGE to post these numbers. He said the numbers will be a little different now because they upped the power a little more!!!

Stock Trans. Juice Setting 5: 375-80 hp.

Stage III Trans Juice on 5: 410-20 hp.

As you can see, the Stage III really puts the power to the ground. I was expecting the numbers to jump up a little, but not this much. The module puts out good power and is very driveable. Settings 4 and 5 will take a little bit longer for the tranny to learn, but once it does they are SWEEEET!!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif

Dstrbd, how about getting JK to post the dyno sheets?

I'm interested in the trailer pulling power, so level 1-3 and since he loads them on his dyno it should show the true power in 1600-2000rpm range.

Thanks, TIM

Installed newly released Quadzilla Power Module on my LLY Dually and I'm very impressed. I pull a 48' closed race trailer about half the time and use stage 1. I notice a substantial increase in throttle response and full curve torque. Without the trailer, it's hard not to dial-in stage 2. Extreme performance and a puff of black smoke covering your rivals. Have been told not to engage stage 3 without intake/exhast assistance. Called the dealer to complain about the transmission sluggishness and he told me to let the transmission learn...and it did learn.

much better options out there IMO, TTS http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Thumbs Up.gif for one and from what i read and hear the edge might not be bad as well, certainly cant be as bad as the quad box http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Gee David only a fool with money to waste will fall for your sales pitch .Every one knows the stealth tuner has run ability issues from 01 to present 04 LB7 models .Now the LLY hits the streets and yet another half ass plug and play yet is released by the eyeball hack .

Just say NO just like drugs to the BS handed out to the public by that wanna be.

I'm with Tbone there are so many better option to make power for the Duramax crowd.

How is it that someone can judge something that they have no experience with? And it appears as if you have an older Ford, not a LLY GM. As stated, I don't have a stealth tuner, and could care less how they've performed in the past, as this is my 1st diesel and my performance far exceeds my expectations.

I think tbone has the most experienced opinion- he originally had the quad box, complained about it (as a couple others have too), then bought another product (TTS) and can actually make a comparison between the two. My point is that you've only compared the quad to the stock truck. Compare it to something else like the TTS tune or the new edge box and then you can make a more informed comparison.
