Hi all-

I've been lurking here for some time and tonight I need your help. I just installed an onboard compressor for my AirLift bags and when I started my truck to go home the ABS lights stayed on and the Brakes light came back on and also stays on.:(

My truck is a 2005 GMC 2500HD Duramax/Allie, 4x4,supercab regular bed

OK- so what could I have done to activate these lights and how can I reset them? I did probe my fuse block with a voltmeter to make sure I hooked up the compressor to a circuit that would only come on when I started the truck. I tried disconnecting that connection and it didn't make any difference.....on restart the lights again stayed on. I had to pull some wires/air hoses into the cab through the firewall...but don't see anything obvious there. Any ideas? Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Kevin

Didnt pull the connection off at the brake reserviour? Low fluid level will trip both these lights... Thats just something easy to check.. If not pulling the code for the abs would be the first step.

hey Spitz-

Thanks for the nudge! It got me to go out and recheck the connection at the resevoir, which was fine, but I did find a large bundle with grey ends...obviously tied into the ABS....that was a loose connection and that's all it was. Starts, cycles and lights go aff the way they are supposed to!!:D

Thanks again. Sometimes the simple is too easy!!
