My 03 didn't come with fog lights either and it DID NOT have the switch in the cab from the factory. In order to install them, I had to purchase a Relay (for under the hood) and a switch for the dash. The truck was wired from the dash to the relay spot so the switch was just a matter of removing the existing switch box (that included the cargo switch) and replacing it with a foglights/cargolight combo switch and plugging it in. The toughest part was the fact that you have to find the high amperage output on the bottom side of the relay and put a female connector on the wire that matches the pins in the wiring harnesses in the fuse box (driver's side under the hood). run that wire and a ground down to the fog lights and you're good to go. OH Yeah, I forgot to mention the process of cutting out the plastic valance up front to make holes for the fog lights to fit in.

I can fill you in on details if You decide to assemble them.

The wires that run to the cargo light switch are the same ones that you use on your fogs. When you go to the dealer to purchase the switch, it'll come with the new replacement for the cargo/fogs plastic switchplate. THe wire then just plugs into that and connects the dash switch to the under-hood relay/fuse center. The toughest part I had was after I installed the relay in the under-hood box and then trying to find the vacant spot for the switched side (12v+ fog) of the relay and then getting a female connector that would fit into the plastic wire plug to run directly to the hot side of the fog lights.

I did NOT have to take to the dealer to get a reflash done. In previous threads I've gotten into an arguing match with others on this matter. Mine worked fine without a reflash.

ooooor....what you could do....is as much as I am a fan of a "stock" appearance....I bought a relay from autozone...grounded the lights to the frame..ran a wire from the lights to the relay...from the relay to the battery...found a spot on the inside fuse box that is only powered up when the ignition is on...ran that to one of the switches in my attitude mount...and ran the wire from the switch to the relay...that way I can have my fogs on when the rest of my lights are off...or with just my parking lights...or with all the lights...pm me if you need a better explination or even a diagram...mike

Sent you a PM, could you elaborate on this part?
