Since the jury hasn't and may never conclude which one is better at cleaning oil I'd have to go with the Oilguard. Solid billet aluminum base, thick steel powder coated filter housing and it's not overly priced. Future filter elements are also less expensive and it will keep your oil honey colored a lot longer than without. I had one on my 02 and confirmed it was doing an excellant job via visual oil appearance and UOA's. I plan to use the same on my 06. Oilguard also has an outstanding customer service dept.

Don't forget about Amsoils bypass filters. Greg from @ www.lubricationspecialist.com (http://www.lubricationspecialist.com) has great prices.
