tony,

I got my SMF/SD clutch set up here... www.dynadroitclutches.com . The customer service from John at Dynadroit and Peter at SBC were second to none.

MaxRock and kkhamil23 are both correct regarding the best company and best products and best customer service. Warranty, repair, customer communications, quick responses-shipping-repairs, and more experience and knowledge than other competitors.

Here are the current prices:

DD Max FB (double disc w/ solid fywheel) $2150.00
DD Max CB (double disc w/ solid flywheel) $1795.00
SD Max OR, KV or CB (single disc w/ solid flywheel) $1100.00
SD Max FB (single disc w/ solid flywheel) $1300.00

If someone needs pricing for Dodge or Ford let me know.

SBC recommends replacing the slave cylinder when you install a new clutch kit so that if there is a problem you will know it is not due to the SC. If you already have a DDC installed I would not relplace the SC if it is still working ok. Just be wise about idle and shut off , etc. Also, if you can get someone to reprogram your idle rpms that would be good. I would also suggest a Fludampr when you can . . . .

This is who built my clutch...hes really really good and knows his stuff. Brad Ingram is running his clutch in his dodge and tearing them up(the competition that is)lol. Hes very reasonable on his stuff.

I don't think Kennys Machine offers a clutch and flywheel kit for the GM ZF6. I looked at them for a Cummins project my brother has and they may work good for what they are made for but I prefer SBC. The service Peter and John offer is really good and they're always willing to answer questions, even after the sale. I've been running a SBC DD Ceramic for about 18,000 miles and I'm completely satisfyed with the reliability.

So Kelley you think south bend would give you a new clutch for free because you installed the first one improperly. I know you have had trouble getting ahold of me past and present but I don't think anyone else would have ate your installation mistake either. I don't want anyone confused and thinking I still sell clutches but I told Kelley I would handle his clutch since i sold him the first one. I just don't want anyone confusing my customer service past and present to anyone else handling the Macs brand clutch.
